Jon Wells was born in England in 1968. He studied BA Hons Industrial Design at Central St Martins College in London, and following graduation in 1991 he won a scholarship to Eaton Hall Product Development, a charity funded organisation founded by the Duchess of Westminster to provide young designers the opportunity to take an idea from drawing board to production. He has since worked for a variety of leading technological and design led manufacturers including Psion Computers PLC, Tag Mclaren and Amino Communications Ltd before founding JWD Ltd in 2004. His professional approach to design and commitment to achieving excellence has earned him growing respect and recognition within his field. His work for Amino Communications Ltd and design contribution to Malvern Instruments Ltd has won several design awards including the IBO Gold, Red Dot, and an International Good Design award. Jon Wells is currently offering a variety of project management and CAD services as well as being available for short-term freelance work.
